Troubleshooting

The issues that come up most, by what you see on screen.

Find the symptom that matches what you are seeing.

The leads list is empty

The agent ran but nothing arrived, or it has been hours with no leads.

  1. Open the agent. If it shows draft or paused, activate it. See Agents.
  2. Confirm at least one strategy is enabled on the agent.
  3. If the ICP is very strict (narrow roles, small company size, one region, tight industry all at once), few people qualify. Widen one field and wait for the next run. See Tuning Agents.
  4. Give it a full day. Volume is spread across scheduled runs, not delivered all at once.

Leads arrive but are off-profile

You are getting leads, but they are the wrong role, wrong company type, or not buyers.

  1. Tighten the ICP roles to the two or three that own the budget. See Defining Your ICP.
  2. Add an exclusion for the wrong type that keeps appearing (agencies, students, vendors).
  3. If the noise is from competitor or keyword strategies, the keywords are too broad. See Brand Info.

Change one field, wait for the next run, check again. See Fix off-target leads.

Hiring leads are about the wrong roles

The hiring strategy returned people at companies hiring for roles you sell to, not roles your product affects.

This happens when sales-target roles were entered in the hiring configuration. Put the roles your product replaces or supports there instead. See Tuning Agents.

A banner says agents are paused

You see a banner that agents are paused until the next billing cycle.

You reached the monthly processing allowance, usually from a strategy running on very broad keywords. Tighten the keywords or narrow the ICP so it does not recur. Agents resume automatically next cycle. See Limits and Quotas.

No notification arrived for a new lead

A lead is in the app but Slack, Discord, email, or Telegram stayed quiet.

  1. Confirm the channel shows connected on the Integrations screen.
  2. For Slack and Discord, check the bot still has access to the chosen channel.
  3. For email, check the digest-versus-per-lead setting and the destination address. See Integrations.

A CRM push did nothing

You pushed a lead but it did not appear in the CRM.

  1. Reconnect the CRM from the Integrations screen. Authorizations can expire.
  2. Confirm you are in the brand connected to that CRM. Connections are per brand.
  3. A missing email does not block a push, so that is not the cause.

The extension panel is empty or will not fill

You are on a LinkedIn or X profile but the opener does not appear.

  1. Confirm you are signed in to the extension with your CatchIntent account.
  2. Confirm you are logged in to LinkedIn or X in the same browser.
  3. Reload the profile page so the panel re-attaches. See Browser Extension.

Still stuck

If the symptom is not here, the cause is usually the brand profile. A sharp ICP and real buyer keywords resolve most quality and volume problems. Contact support if it persists.
