Troubleshooting
The issues that come up most, by what you see on screen.
Find the symptom that matches what you are seeing.
The book is empty
The orchestrator has been running but no Accounts have landed.
- Confirm the Product has an Audience saved. Audience tab — all four blocks (Your product / Company fit / Buyers / Signals) should have values.
- Confirm at least one Signal is enabled. The baseline fit sweep keeps the book non-empty.
- If Fit is very strict (narrow roles + small company size + one region + tight industry all at once), few companies qualify. Widen one field and wait for the next tick. See Tuning Your Book.
- Give it ten minutes. The first build runs immediately after card-on-file, but the full book fills incrementally.
Accounts arrive but are off-profile
Accounts are landing, but the wrong companies or the wrong people inside them.
- Wrong company kind → Audience → Fit → tighten industries, add exclusions for the kind that keeps appearing (agencies, students, vendors).
- Wrong people inside → Audience → Buyers → cut roles down to the two or three that own the budget.
- Noisy competitor or keyword signals → Audience → Your product → tighten the competitor list; Audience → Signals → Keyword buzz → tighten the keyword list.
Change one field, wait one tick, check again. See Fix off-target accounts.
Hiring signal looks wrong
The hiring signal returned companies hiring for roles you sell to, not roles your product replaces.
Most common cause: the Hiring signal's roles to track has the same titles as your buyer roles. They must be different. Buyer roles = who you sell to; roles to track = the function your product scales. See Buyers.
A banner says the pipeline is paused
You see a banner that paid pipeline work is paused until manual restart.
Processing paused as a safety measure. Usually means a fit dimension is too broad or competitor / keyword lists are too generic. Tighten one and contact support to restart. See Limits and Quotas.
A signal isn't producing accounts
A specific signal is enabled but no Accounts are landing via it.
- Hiring — your
replacesRoleslist may be too narrow. Add the function whose scale-up is the buying trigger (SDR, BDR, FP&A — not your own target roles). - Competitor engagement — your competitor domains list is empty or wrong. Add the real LinkedIn-active competitors.
- Keyword buzz — keywords are too broad or category words. Use the phrases buyers actually use ("switching from X", "alternatives to Y"), not your own brand name.
- Funding / acquisition / exec move — these are external company-event signals. If the market is quiet on a given week, you'll see fewer; this is normal.
No notification for a new Account or Lead
The book updated but Slack, Discord, email, or Telegram stayed quiet.
- Confirm the channel shows connected on the Integrations screen.
- For Slack and Discord, check the bot still has access to the chosen channel.
- For email, check the digest-versus-per-event setting. See Integrations.
A CRM push did nothing
You pushed an Account or Lead but it did not appear in the CRM.
- Reconnect the CRM from the Integrations screen. Authorizations can expire.
- Confirm you are in the Product connected to that CRM. Connections are per-Product.
- A missing email does not block a push, so that is not the cause.
The extension panel is empty or will not add
You are on a LinkedIn profile or post but the panel shows nothing, or adding a person does not work.
- Confirm you are signed in to the extension with your CatchIntent account.
- Confirm you are logged in to LinkedIn in the same browser.
- Reload the page so the panel re-attaches.
- For bulk import on a post, open the post's own page (not the feed) so the engagers can be read.
See Browser Extension.
Still stuck
If the symptom is not here, the cause is usually the Audience. A sharp Audience resolves most quality and volume problems. Contact support if it persists.
