FAQ
The questions people ask most before and after they start.
Do I need a card for the trial?
Yes. The trial is 7 days with a card on file and gives you up to 50 leads. You are not charged during the trial. The card filters wrong-fit signups — it exists so the people who try CatchIntent are the people for whom it's built. See Billing.
What counts as a lead?
Only a person actually delivered to your Leads list. Candidates dropped during verification, people you've already received, and competitor employees do not count. See Leads.
What's a "workable account"?
An Account that has Fit ≥ medium, at least one live signal, and at least one Lead attached. It's the headline quality metric. A trial that surfaces 8 workable accounts beats a list of 200 cold names.
Does 1,000 leads a month mean 1,000 customers?
No. A Lead is a well-timed conversation with someone showing real intent, not a closed deal. Cold lists convert at ~1–2% because they interrupt people who never asked. Reaching people the week they show a buying signal converts much higher — but the exact number depends on your offer and follow-through. Plan for strong conversations, not contracts.
Is 1,000 leads a month low volume?
It's intentionally not a static list of a hundred thousand cold contacts. Every Lead is a specific person showing intent that week, refreshed daily, and tied to a real Account-level why-now. A few hundred in-market people outperform tens of thousands of cold ones, which is why we cap volume to what's genuinely warm. Scale up on Scale or Enterprise once the book proves itself.
How fast do I get accounts?
The orchestrator starts the moment your trial card is on file. Within about five minutes you should see at least three Accounts in the book, each with a live signal and a Lead attached. We never leave you with an empty book.
Why are some accounts not a great fit?
Almost always Audience too broad. Tightening Company fit (industries, company size, countries) and your buyer roles fixes most quality issues. See Tuning Your Book and Audience → Company fit.
What is the daily soft cap?
Daily cap = monthly cap / 20. It exists so a too-broad Audience can't burn the entire monthly budget on noise in a single day. The strongest signals fill the daily cap; the rest continues tomorrow. Liftable per-workspace on support request.
Will the people I message know this is automated?
No. You copy the drafted steps and send from your own LinkedIn account, or work the lead from your own CRM after pushing. The opener is a draft you review and edit. Recipients see a normal message from you.
Can a team share one workspace?
Yes. Everyone you invite sees the same Accounts and states, which is how a team avoids messaging the same person twice. See Team Workflows. Multi-user assignment (round-robin, reassignment) is a post-v1 feature; v1 supports single-claim per Account.
Can I run more than one Product?
Yes. Scale allows up to 3 Products in one workspace (Growth: 1, Enterprise: custom). Workspace quota is free-flow across Products — Scale's 4,000 leads / month are shared across all 3 Products combined. See Multi-Product and Agencies.
Do I have to use the CatchIntent extension?
No. You can push Accounts and Leads to your CRM or outreach tool (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close, Zoho, Lemlist, Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo) and work them there instead. See Integrations.
What if I need more volume than Scale?
Talk to us about Enterprise, or about the Done-for-you program if you want our team to run the loop. DFY starts at $1,999 / month with a 3-month minimum and a meetings-booked outcome guarantee. See Billing.
Is my data isolated across Products?
Yes. Accounts, Leads, signals, and integrations are scoped to the active Product. Agency data does not mix across client Products in a workspace. See Security.
What happened to "Agents"?
Retired in v1. The old multi-agent surface is replaced by a single Audience per Product (Your product / Company fit / Buyers / Signals) — same idea, but one config you configure once and the system runs from. The signals that were "strategies" are still all there; you just enable them in the Audience instead of in agent rows.
What happened to "Touches / Playbooks / Engagements"?
Retired. Outreach is now a multi-touch sequence drafted on every Lead (a connection note plus follow-up DMs), which you edit and send yourself or push to your CRM. For automated multi-step sending, use your existing sequencing tool via Integrations.
