Lead Enrichment
When CatchIntent finds a buying signal, you don’t just see what was said. You also see who said it. Lead enrichment automatically pulls in the author’s professional details so you can decide how to respond without doing manual research.
What You Get
Section titled “What You Get”Every enriched signal includes the author’s professional context:
| Detail | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| Job title | Their current role |
| Company | Where they work |
| Industry | What space they’re in |
| Company size | Whether they match your target market |
| A way to reach out directly | |
| Experience | Past roles and companies |
| Skills | Technical and professional expertise |
| Education | Academic background |
This information appears in the signal detail panel, right next to the original post and your relevance score.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”When a signal is created, CatchIntent looks up the author’s profile on the platform where they posted. If professional details are available, they get pulled into the signal automatically.
There’s nothing to configure. Lead enrichment runs automatically on every signal.
Supported Platforms
Section titled “Supported Platforms”| Platform | Enrichment Coverage |
|---|---|
| Full professional profile including role, company, experience, education, skills, and email | |
| X | Profile-based enrichment where available |
| Hacker News | Profile-based enrichment where available |
LinkedIn provides the richest data since profiles there are built around professional identity.
Reading Enriched Signals
Section titled “Reading Enriched Signals”When you open a signal, the author’s professional details appear in the detail panel. You’ll see:
- Profile summary. Name, title, company, and location at a glance.
- Work history. Past roles and companies, so you understand their background.
- Skills and education. Context that helps you personalize your outreach.
- Email. When available, a direct way to follow up outside the platform.
Enrichment Status
Section titled “Enrichment Status”Each signal shows an enrichment status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enriched | Professional details were found and added to the signal |
| Skipped | Not enough information to look up the author |
| Failed | Lookup was attempted but didn’t return results |
Using Enrichment in Your Workflow
Section titled “Using Enrichment in Your Workflow”Prioritize the right leads
Section titled “Prioritize the right leads”See a signal from a VP of Engineering at a mid-market SaaS company? That’s probably worth a thoughtful response. See one from someone without a clear professional profile? Maybe check the relevance score before investing time.
Personalize your outreach
Section titled “Personalize your outreach”Knowing someone’s role, company, and background lets you craft a response that speaks to their specific situation. “I see you’re in fintech” lands better than a generic pitch.
Reach out directly
Section titled “Reach out directly”When a signal includes an email, you have the option to follow up outside the platform. This is useful when the original conversation has moved on or when a direct message makes more sense.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”Lead enrichment is included on all plans. Every signal gets enriched automatically.
